Maintenance Packages
We offer a range of water feature maintenance packages. We offer three routine maintenance packages based on the frequency of visits: monthly, quarterly or annually. These maintenance packages are based on your desired level of involvement with your pond or pondless system. For those who want to enjoy their water feature with minimal involvement we recommend either monthly or quarterly visits.
Our maintenance packages ensure the equipment is running optimally and doesn’t burn out and that the pond is clean, clear and the ecosystem is healthy. With these regular visits we are able to diagnose problems before they occur. If required, we can also offer custom or one off routine pond maintenance.
In these visits we perform the routine maintenance tasks required for your water feature from cleaning and checking the pond equipment, adding additional materials, checking water quality and adding necessary water treatments, removing debris, trimming plants and assessing the overall pond health.
Annual Maintenance
In addition to our routine maintenance packages, we also offer basic and deluxe water feature clean out options for ponds and pondless systems, as well as a wetland cleanout option. We recommend these clean outs annually to get your system looking as good as new. These maintenance packages are based on your pond’s health, water quality and desired water clarity.
If your pond has a wetland attached it is essential to flush out the wetland, particularly in the first 12 months. Flushing out the wetland helps the pond in these early months to remove any excess nutrients, fish waste and plant matter.
The basic clean out involves cleaning the mechanical and biological filters, cleaning the pump, servicing pond equipment as needed, adding additional materials, checking water quality and adding necessary water treatments, removing debris, trimming plants and assessing the overall pond health. The deluxe clean out involves everything in the basic cleanout plus a deep clean of the system. In the deep clean we drain, power wash and rinse the whole pond or pondless system, check the lights, refilling the pond and acclimatise the fish.
