SJC Landscapes are looking for passionate landscapers who love their work to help us on a casual basis as we expand our client base and take on some exciting new projects!

Job role: Junior landscaper

Employment type: Casual under your own ABN

Hours: 15-30 hours a week (could lead to more work for the right person)

Hourly Rate: $30-$35/hour (experience dependant) 

Location: Tweed and Byron shires and surrounds

SJC Landscapes is passionate about promoting outdoor living and encouraging people to spend more time in their gardens. We provide a practical approach to the everyday requirements of a garden such as paths, fencing and decking while incorporating softer, natural elements such as plants and water to create a fresh new outdoor environment for our customers to discover and enjoy. Our water features mimic naturally occurring bodies of water, making a great home for native fish and local flora and fauna.

What you'll need to succeed

• White card

• Current Australian driver's license 

• Own transport to and from work 

• Have your own ABN

• Bobcat or excavator tickets looked upon favourably 

• Previous experience in Landscaping or Horticulture advantageous but not essential

• Experience with power tools  

• Honest and reliable

• Be physically fit

 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Able to work alone or in a team

• Work within deadlines

• Work across various sites across Tweed & Byron Shires and surrounding suburbs

• Assistance with water feature installation and maintenance, paving and tiling, timber work, fencing, retailing walls, stonework, turfing and artificial lawns, drainage and occasional soft scaping and garden maintenance 

• Use of basic machinery such as brick saw, compactor, dingo
